you may be driving an Inspace van tomorrow instead of a council van, every other day he has a new bloody van. one day berneslai homes van and then inspace then barnsley council, then one of those this van is been hired by barnsley council.

The whole incident brought chaos to Dodworth High Street

Basically He Tried Been Clever

Double parked traffic on High Street at Dodworth so i slowed down to give way to afew cars, an old boy in a Mazda flash's me through so as i set off ****** in Clio comes round the Mazda & trys getting through the gap unfortunatly with a 10 ton wagon there was only going to be 1 winner. Both of us refused to reverse so i just mentioned i could stay there allday. He gave it the routine 'council ******' comment to which i asked which cerial box he got his license from.

It then got abit more heated with my door opening & me getting out of the lorry which brought the 'your easy to report' comment before he backed up looking rather sheepish

 

You should try road rage up here

They wave weapons at you, threaten to stab you, etc.

It's rather amusing.

While we're on with the Council... there I go, off up to Locke Park as encouraged by our elected brethren to pick up my extensively advertised free compost, only to find that they've none left.

If you run into the guy when you arent in a "council lorry" and find yourself on an a ABH charge dont be surprised if you lose your job for bringing the council into disrepute.

I'd like to say your scenario is a one off

but unfortunately it happens far too often here on the High Street.

Had occasions when cars are parked on the kerbs and then cars parked at the side of them (triple parked) and owners have complained when buses or wide traffic drivers nearly touch their car, or when emergency vehicles need to get past and drivers suddenly see a parking space and start reversing into it.

Actually got fed up of the number of times we've heard squealing of brakes, bangs and arguements outside due to accidents caused by carelessness.
