Who punched my mate who's a Wednesday from from behind in the back of the head as he walked back to his car, well done you're a really big man

 

There was some trouble in the bus station after too. Flying bottle only just missed us. Feckin numpties.

 

He text me to tell me. It was at the rail crossing. Said there were about 50 'fans' pissed out of their heads.He lives abroad and I met him for a couple of really good hours before the game. It really is pathetic

 

Hope he's OK, no place for it as a victim of similar it's not nice. Also the "fans" with flairs and whoever thrown summet at Mcphail fk of we don't want you.

 

And the idiot who was throwing lighters at McPhail needs a good shake.

My mate was sat near the incident and apparently the stewards nearby did nothing. It seems he was confronted about it by another fan before he disappeared off into the crowd. If that's true then the stewards need to be spoken to and reminded of why they are actually in the ground.

 

There was lots of violence outside the bus station/groggers. Saw at least 3 Wednesday fans get arrested.

 

It was both sets, I saw a group of young (late teens?) Barnsley fans set upon an older (late 40s) Wednesday fan who was simply walking to the car park.

 

Aye that's where the bottle throwing was.

 

Most only appear for these games - soon crawl back under the stone from which they came

 

The lighter throwers were chucked out. Not straight away, but they got 'em.

 

We must have been very close to you. That bottle went straight over the top of my head.

 

Smashed about 3ft in front of me and my fatha. Luckily I saw it mid-air so had chance to check my stride.
