People will apply for it..

of a decent stature. And there is nothing to stop us targeting someone either.

Paul Ince for me. Not that it matters. Davey is not going anywhere.

    Jim Illey In

I reckon by now he can surely do a job
Shurely can't be worse than Davey - at least he signed Brian Joicey

based on experience and by comparison to Davey's CV and record, I'm not sure we could afford a cheese sandwich.

Unless it was out of date.

    That's somewhat subjective though, Glynn

One person may make what they consider to be a sensible alternative, the next person may feel it's a fantasy option. Who's to decide which person, if either, is correct and/or accurate? Nor does anyone know what financial package Patrick Cryne will make available to any potential manager, be it salary of transfer fund. If Simon Davey were to leave the club, I'm certain there would be plenty of interest within the football industry to take up the post. The position is certainly far more attractive than it was when Andy Ritchie was sacked, especially if we were to avoid relegation. The last time the position was available, the manager who'd just been sacked had won promotion a mere six months earlier, so it may have appeared something of a poison chalice. This would've affected the quality of person actually applying for the job.

I've thought he'd be a good shout since he left Blacburn

has done well with lower league clubs

wants to re establish his career and probably wont get a pop at a premiership club.

That post is in very bad taste.

Pickle! You MUST have pickle in a cheese sandwich for it to be remotely intelligent.
