I would guess loans till the end of season works both ways... once we have agreed to a deal, then we are duty bound not to send em back or be recalled
Not sure I understand the ire after the last 2 defeats - it seems that perceived wisdom is that this season is too soon to get promoted anyway so what's the problem ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I personally want all our best players available to the very last game. If it's any consolation, I reckon the last game will decide whether or not Rochdale make the play offs
I agree; if there is any chance they can make the play-offs we need to put the strongest side possible out.
I'll renew next season if we win, lose or draw all our remaining games. I'd like to see players likely to be here next season playing in them.
If we have the intention/possibility of signing them then they should stay anyone else can go. We will still have to pay them but might as well play contracted players.
the worst possible thing i could imagine, would be a half-arsed team put in a half-arsed performance, against a rochdale side clinching play-offs on our own patch on the last day of the season. i just can't bear to even think of seeing that..
I'd certainly be playing Smith from now on instead of John, and probably leaving Stewart and Ibehre out too (Jabo looks decent but what's the point? Play big George and hope we can buy him, or stick Oates in). Give Williams, Cowgill, Berry, Nana etc some game time
The thought of Hill punching the Oakwell air and celebrating along with some of our ex players is the stuff of nightmares.
According to LJ tonight , pundit on Skys Bristol /Swindon game, if we don't get into play-offs this season it will definitely be next season !!
