..never in it in midfield, never looked likely to score. Goal..Hayes or Hassell? who knows. Hassell headed it towards goal and Hayes turned it in on the line. If it was Hayes goal then it was the only time in the game he got close to scoring. Tonge looked lost in midfield and the missing creativity afforded by howard / mcphail was apparant. In the first half its a good Job Windass is not as sharp as he was, as he crashed 4 good chances wide/over. Burns came close, having a low shot turned around the post. Only Carbon (MOM), Devaney, Burns & Shuker deserved any? credit from a poor, poor game. Richards and Hayes looked powederpuff and never threatened. Butterfingers Flinders spilled a long effort with which Bradford deservedly and inevitably drew level. Jarman had 15 mins and did nothing to show me that we dont need at least 1 average striker. Dissapointed and Robbed thats how I feel (by BFC) that is. I can assure you that I wont be attending the replay and regret forking out 19 quid for todays atrocity exhibition.
Poor, poor games. How many times we said that this season. Were ***** at home, end of. Ive only seen them play well against Oldham. (Forrest and Walsall i had to miss) I'am sat there through large patches of every home game, bored stiff. ...are well. Roll on Tuesday. (cryin)
To be fair, Bradford looked a decent team. They have a pretty good record away from home (only two defeats) so far. Not that great at home though. I agree that Hayes and Richards did nothing up front. Did you really think everyone else was that bad?
Aye We commented that they were one of the better sides we've seen this season. They should have been a goal or 2 up by halftime, don't think I've seen Windass miss so many chances. Overall I think a draw was a fair result, just disappointed that we threw away the lead so late on
Credit to Bradford but we made them look better. Piss poor all over park today and 19 quid ...rubbish
£18 for me. I sat in my usual spot. I really didn't think it was all that bad. As I said before, Bradford played pretty well and in that respect it was better than the Darlington game. We all handed over our hard earned cash today (rather than a season ticket voucher). Do you think that affects our perspective of the game? It's also starting to get colder! I agree that we do need a bit more excitement / entertainment to get us through the winter months.
we were shocking I was actually contemplating going to the pub with 25 mins left. Hardly looked likely to score. No decisive or creative play in the entire game. Poor.
