I thought that they were singing it to the police lol, so...........i also went into the toilets, and nearly came out dead, hehe, the amount of people that were smoking in the toilets.....
to be fair to the majority of them in the far back corner today, they are the boys (supporters) that get the atmosphere going. most songs they start, sing, carry across most of the travelling fans. the rising sun carry the best vocal fans that follow the tarn.....FACT......and before you slaughter me, i dont travel with these guys.
Agree, travelled with the Rising Sun a few times and most are sound. At the games they start the singing. Some of the 'older members from the group today were far from happy with the younger members who started the "fit to wear the shirt" stuff.
kirkwood yeah it was a good atmosphere and surely it should have been (tell mi mam mi mam, to put the champagne on ice, wi goin to wembley twice........) which other club with a week in front of them like ours would have been quiet.. Breath of fresh air, I thought. After hearing nowt but 'Que sera, sera' since the Chelsea game, to hear some of the golden oldies wheeled out was just great. Red Suspenders, Fight Fight Fight for Barnsley and I did like the 'Tell me ma, me ma' version!!
