    Why

Because we got half a million up front for a reserve keeper?

    Sorry YN

but you seem to be the only one who didn't expect Scott to leave. Even Laura knew it was only a matter of time before he went on to hopefully better himself.

exactly which may well be one of the main reason ritchie stuck with colgan last term. Knowing full well scott would be on his way he wanted to keep an experienced keeper. just imagine if he had played scott all last season colgan would have walked at end of contract and flinders sold we would be without a keeper

    I thought last season

Nick and Scott were told to "earn" the right to be no 1.

Just over a week ago it looked as if we were going to lose both keepers, Nick hadn't signed and BFC had turned down the first offer for Scott.

Anyhow whatever, we need a new keeper and I'm sure something must be in the pipeline.

Grow up and go and support some some other outfit. Flinders was always going to go, it was a matter of who to and when. Why on earth should a couple of transfer deals, when nobody has any clue what is going on behind the scenes, stop you from supporting the club, especially after promotion? Let them get on with it - I'm sure they couldn't give a rat's arse whether you get a season ticket or not.
Flinders was the only way we could ever raise any money for the deals we need to compete. Rocket science it aint.

    RE: sorry but....

We will replace scott with a keeper on loan i imagine as no-one is going to want to sign for us and sit on the bench without being paid well. Really don't get people having a go at the club over it though, talk about short sighted.

    RE: totally agree

I only see this as good business in the short term...if we genuinly have no money then fine its a good business deal but if we reckon we have a future england int on our books why sell him colgan is very overrated IMO and he is 32 now i believe i just feel they have let him go too early ....i know what u r saying reg him starting this season but not 100% happy with him going unless we bring in a good NO2 and surly we wount get on for free!!

I hope Mr Ritchie is shrued in the transfer market!!
