Million pound game and a very nervous 9 year old. I've tried explaining to him the ***** we've been through at Oakwell for the past 10 years but apparently this is the biggest game of the weekend. So on that note come on Wakey
I was born just across the road from Belle Vue. Perfect weekends were Oakwell Saturday, Trinity on Sunday. Usually followed by a stand-off with the Fev or Cas fans on Heath Common. They'll always be Trinity to me - none of this Wildcats *****. It's been an awful season, and it's terrible it's come down to this, but hope it turns out well for Wakey. I shall be distracted at work this aft, to say the least.
Not the wrong code at all. Two HUGE games of rugby today. A Wakefield, Barnsley and England treble is the kind of Saturday dreams are made of.
My first foray in to the pub game proper was running the Con Club next to the ground over 12 years ago. Awful preparation for today. A disatrous season in general. No real hope for the future if we lose. However, we've a habit of turning it on when our Super League future is at stake, ever since we annoyed the powers that be by getting promoted. Barnsley are a second concern for me from 3:30pm (a very close second concern mind).
as a Taff who migrated to Barnsley I can't agree with you on this one MK - Come on Australia -- tin hat?!
Hope wake and barnsley do it and obviously England but I can't watch union just bores me compared to league no flow to it.
No, Wales not already qualified. If Australia beat England tonight we qualify, if they don't Wales will probably have to beat Australia on 10 Oct. England very likely beat Uruguay and likely to pick up a bonus point.
