Very, very poor. I'm encouraged by the signings of Hammill and Halfredsson but the same old problems are still there for all to see and I fear Davey will do nothing to remedy them. Why on earth are we STILL without a left footed left back....ffs??? On the evidence of the opening three games Kozluk is shot. He is getting beat time and time again and his judgement when tackling is woeful. Much as I like Hassell, we are sadly lacking in pace at full back on both sides of the field. As for the forwards, you just know already that we are going to struggle. How many do we have in the squad, is it seven? Problem is there isn't a pairing among them that fills you with any confidence. None possess the necessary pace to frighten defenders and we lack a target man with the ability to hold up the ball and play others in as well as be able to attack a decent cross. At Hillsboro and today I've seen one half decent 45 minutes and the other three halves have been dreadful. Not pressing the panic button just yet, as Coventry seem to have a hoodoo over us, but I fear it's going to be another long winter....
