    really really enjoyable i thought, three things to comment

    1. great to see so many people there, good idea from the top bosses to let people in with season tickets. also good to see stan get such a good reception (just shows how much tarn fans appreciate hard work from players)

    2. RNL and Potter did very well in my opinion today as well as sodje, but we have to be realistic enough to realise that it was a friendly and it doesn't mean that they can handle championship week in week out necessarily

    3. the number 8 for them looked a cracking player, james ashmore i think he is called, controlled the ball and released it with minimal fuss and really helped direct them as a team


    all in all a good run out and great to get back to watching the boys

    he got released end of last season according to wikipedia and is actually their player (dunno if thats true) but if they are releasing player like that then i hear what you are saying

    £5 million for Kyle Naughton, similar bids for Walker

    Michael Tonge they got £3m for too. There are others but my brain's fried.

    Montgomery plays regularly and he came through too.
