The one thing that i thought was a big factor in todays win was that we wasnt scared of them, some teams might have thought were playin top of the league lets just keep the goals down but today we took it to them really and showed what a great side we can be by just putting the pressure on the other team and putting 110 % into everything.
Exactly No ******** just an honest opinion of the way we competed and eventually WON! One of the performances of the season already.
Re: Todays Game - agreed the first 20 mins didnt look too good either because we started slow, gave them too much respect etc or because they were really fast out of the blocks thought that Howard led by example today the crowd were not too happy about the absence of challenges when they had the ball, then there was the incident when ultimately Howard got booked for getting stuck in. This intent clearly got round the rest of our lads and they collectively raised their game, matched Watford in all areas and then earned the right to play our game rather than reacting to theirs (Devaney's goal, get in!)
I think we did show them too much respect in the first half Being honest we went 2-0 up against the run of play Not sure what Davey said at half time but we definitely werent scared second half -one of our best performances for years
Spot On That was the turning point after that we competed and rattled them especially in the 2nd half we were magnificent
