So it seems then that the majority of views on the board today from those who actually WENT to the game is that because MK dons were so poor, they actually made US look poor because although we have a talented side we just wanted to see how low we could go in our performance and showed empathy so much so we could not raise our game.
In respect of our last 2 games then which i attended, at Port Vale we thought we would give them a 2 goal start and then raise our game and beat them in the second half, they were a half decent side so we thought we would have a 60% effort but unfortunately we were bad and they beat us.
Thw Walsall game was much the same, we tried the approach of playing really bad with the hope of phsicologically making them think we were bad so in line with our thinking they Walsall should have played bad , but they did not , in fact they wiped the floor with us, so the conclusion is if you play bad most of the time you lose but if the other team is nearly as bad then you may get lucky as we did today.

For the last few years we have played to the level of our opponents. We play well against good sides (Luton away last season is a prime example) and when the opposition is poor, we frequently play poorly. Partly this is because poor sides tend to use "spoiling" tactics which prevent talented players from taking control of a game. Port Vale hassled us out of our preferred pattern of play last Saturday - they were poor and they forced us to perform poorly too. The first parts of each half, we played how we wanted and dominated.
