rob knowles is in charge of that to be fair to him he is off work at the moment due to becoming a father again but it is poor that the club havent organised a PROPER stand in for him so the quality of the clubs products is suffering.
Chatting to a couple of the hacks outside the Main Office at around 2.15 - they were pissing themselves at the programme. What a crass, embarassing error. "Welcome to Tony Mowbray and his high-flying West Brom side....blah blah....great result for us at Southend.....blah blah... How the ****??!?
Not as bad as last season when we played sunderland and a full page was taken up by a picture of the stadium of light. The only problem is that it was this stadium of light in benfica. [img=http://www.in.gr/news/Reviews/Review534204/assets/Luz.jpg]
I'm a qualified freelance journalist, copy editor and proofreader - it's makes me sick how someone as incompetent as Rob Knowles gets a £28k paycheck every year. The website is just as bad - no wonder we're called dingles (
Not Rob's fault He's entitled to some paternity leave. Other clubs of our size/level have between 2 and 4 press officers. No idea who 'filled in'.
I don't think anyone filled in, he said in his programme notes that he was off but had still put together the programme at home. Not his fault though (ok myabe it is slightly then if thats the case) but the club knew his wife was pregnant so had ample time to organise proper cover.
RE: Not Rob's fault Of course Rob is entitled to paternity leave, I agree but he's not on paternity leave every week and there are sloppy, schoolboy errors on the website and in the programme each and every week. As Editor, the end product is his responsibility no matter how many writers are involved. It's about time he earnt his money. It does my head in!! (banghead)
RE: DB cant have read his copy yet, or You mean like on the sponsors page, where the sponsor says how happy they are to be sponsoring us playing SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY
That's the worst of the lot. It says we are playing Burnley at Selhurst Park on 15th of March, but at the top of the page mentions playing them February the 12th. Obviously we have two dates to play Burnley at Crystal Palace and both dates are wrong.
Rob Knowles on £28k a year, your having laugh! What the hell does he do to earn that apart from maing basic errors every other week in the programmre which a bloody 12 year old could spot. It's pathetic, and the website is just as bad! Why the **** do we keep hearing about him becoming a father agin in his programme notes, i think its been mentioned enough.
