    I thought that Muller's kicking was woeful. </p>

    As soon as he kicked it out it went straight to an opposition player - not good enough for a Premier Keeper if that's where hopes lie.</p>

    I thought, alongside Fired, that Da Silva and Howard were both poor today. Neither took the game by the scruff of the neck, Howard was continually caught ball napping and Da Silver gave away, times many, free kicks in dangerous situations</p>

    Jon Mackem - why don't you listen and look for the Assistant Ref?! (could have got the equaliser)
    </p>

    The defence worked hard but our midfield was static, non productive and was this a derby Game? If so it didn't feel like it.
    </p>

    Well forgive me if it was because the players didn't seem to think so
    </p>

    After the game , I was wondering - did the players know how much this game meant to the fans?</p>

    NO</p>

    I came away feeling bitterly, bitterly disappointed and let down by my team</p>

    Sheff Utd are extremely mediocre and clueless but we just don't seem to perform in the derby games.</p>

    It hurts to see poor teams like Sheff Utd and Sheff Weds getting 3 points off us every time we play them away.</p>

    Met our Blade friend afte rthe game and he couldn't believe , like myself, how low key the game felt and how lack lustre it was.</p>

    </p>

    Well, Simon has his work cut out for the rest of the season</p>

    Hell, the Reds were awful today and the Blunts were even worse and the game was
    </p>

    there for the taking, it was like Wedeneday revisited.</p>

    I feel absolutely gutted and let down by the team tonight. :'( :'( (battered) (seestars)

    This seems to happen around every derby game the players say they are up for it then time and time again fail to perform, the lack of goals is the most concerning point, if we go behind i think we are buried.

    Agree.
    I am sick of reading and hearing how they are 'up for it'.
    The players on the pitch today for BFC did not seem to appreciate what winning this game meant.
    I feel so bitterly let down by them.

    Its a shame we have had to play both games away, lets hope we get them back at Oakwell!

    Lets hope the other team arent up for it!

    We can always hope, but it still doesn't take away this feeling of being let down by them today.

    I wasnt too surprised about todays result, i mentioned it the other day that we seem to bottle it in derby games and i got grief - happened again though.

    I know.
    We just don't seem to perform in the derbies
    It's heartbreaking really.

    It's incredible

    One week some people are so proud of the players, yet the next they feel as though the manager has his work cut out.

    This isn't a personal dig at you Tina, but let's be honest. IMHO in both derby games the players have given it everything (more so in the Wednesday game). They were up against a team that probably cost close to £10m, and we all know that we should have got something. We didn't play sparkling, but we played ok and should have got the point.

    Look at the start we've had, I'd happily take it over beating both Sheffield sides but battling against relegation today. We were unlucky today, end of.

    Again, it's not a personal dig at you Tina, but just my general view of things.

    Got to agree about Muller. It seems to be something that we are doing with goalkeepers that come to us. When was the last time he threw it to our full backs? He did that when he first came and just seems to have started booted it long.

    Howard has been poor for the last few games IMO. He's not off in January with performances like those.

    Jon Mackem - why don't you listen and look for the Assistant Ref?! I was thinking this at the time but had he got forward I think the linesman would have flagged.

    To be fair to Muller, he kept looking to throw it out but whenever he did, a Sheff U player just went and closed one of the full backs down.

    Agree look at the bigger picture 10th in the table

    loose the sheffield chip we played well for an hour today playing good football all the hype about sheff u being ***** don't belive it they have premiership players throughout the team i thought it was low key due to the fact that the utd fans have turned into big time charlies who turn up to be entertained and not to support their team.

    That's the stuff...

    ...we need plenty of negative comments about Muller, De Silva and Howard on here leading up to the January transfer window!

    RE: It's incredible

    Sorry but I thought we were incredibly poor today. They were up for it a lot more than we were, hence they won all the 50-50 balls out there. We've come a long way this year but we just cannot win a fecking derby for love nor money. I'm heartily sick of hearing the players talking pre-match about doing this and that for the fans etc then letting us down. It's gone on for the past 3 or 4 years now, going back to when we first played Donny and it's starting to get embarrasing.
    Just say nothing pre-match boys, then do the business on the field please.
    So bloody frustrating, two ***** Sheffield teams and two defeats FFS!!

    The Blunts have spent several times more on one man than we've spent on our entire squad.

    Believe in Davey. We'll give a better account of ourselves at home, and he'll take us into the Premiership either next season or the one after.

    So we lost to a team with twice as many fans, and substantially more money? It's not surprising. Our day, though, will come again with Davey in charge.

    Macken was offside

    The assistant ref signalled to their defenders that fact.</p>

    The season's 46 games Tina. </p>

    What a pathetic post.........

    Get a grip women! 10th in the league, just because we lose 1 game its all doom and gloom, Davey has got his work cut out for rest of season! amazing! Dont really no how you can have a go at the players for commitment and desire, and posts like this is why women in football get shot down.

    Yes I know, but I still felt let down by them

    Can't help it. We can play better.</p>

    I thought Sheff Utd were there for the taking and as always I post when the 'heat is still on'</p>

    I didn't enjoy the game and it did seem lack lustre and low key.</p>

    I'm sorry if you don't like the comments I made.</p>

    I try to be positive but I really did feel down after the game.</p>
