I know all the arguments about looking at results when one particular player is being looked at but it is interesting nevertheless to look at results when each of the players has played the full 90 minutes in League games only. </p> <table width="177" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" style="border-collapse: collapse"> <tbody><tr style="height: 20px"> <td style="height: 20px; width: 150px">Togwell</td> <td style="width: 85px"> </td> </tr> <tr style="height: 20px"> <td style="height: 20px">P 6 W 2 D 4 L 0</td> <td>ppg 1.67</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 20px"> <td style="height: 20px">da Silva</td> <td></td> </tr> <tr style="height: 20px"> <td style="height: 20px">P 17 W 5 D 5 L 7</td> <td>ppg 1.06</td> </tr> </tbody></table> I know this takes no account of the opposition but it surely says something???
Not really... Its the opposition that count, theres a big difference in Scunny's midfield to West Brom. De Silva in my eyes is the best midfielder we have, Howard was for the first 10 games but De Silva really turns the cogs for the midfield. He'll be sadly missed.
RE: Not really... I wasn't suggesting Togwell is better than da Silva-just that he hasn't noticeably done badly when he has played and surely deserves a run in midfield ahead of Bobby Hassell - at least Togwell might cross the half way line in open play once in the match
Defo... Togwell everytime, but because Davey's a stubborn b**tard he wont change it. Is it me or does Hassell seem to think he's a playmaker all of a sudden? got caught so many times on Saturday trying to dribble and spread fancy balls out, seems to think he's got an eternity on the ball. Feel for him a bit cause he's an excellent defender.
