Then he takes Togwell off and he puts Mattis on the right??? Is he on fecking drugs that kid. We had much better options than to start Togwell right wing. What a waste.

    Williams CM?

Mr Davey had Togwell available and fully fit this afternoon. Why not use him in the middle where we KNOW he can operate.

Mattis was making his debut (against a top of the table side it must be said) and it may have been better to ease him into the game rather than throw him in at the deep end. McCann actually looked a lot better on the ball than Mattis when he finally came on.

Overall, I'm a little disappointed in the Mattis signing. I was hoping we would sign a player who who was going to put himself about and get into the face of the opposition midfield. He looks a bit lightweight.

How to ruin the best defensive midfielder at the club...

Step 1. Play him on the right wing.

Step 2. Sub him and then put Robbie Williams in his position.

    Sounds like a great plan!

Had Disco been available, I wonder if Togwell would have been selected at all...
