This guy's been a steal for us in my opinion. I like the way that he just plays a simple game and for me this allows the other midfielders take on a more attacking role. Sometimes this means that his contribution goes un-noticed.

We hear all this talk about how we need more experianced players but Toggers shows that youth does not mean that you cannot play without maturity.

to me he was the first half man of the match, faded a bit in the second half as they came back into it. I don't care if we've got a team of 20 year olds if they play with the passion that our lot do. Or we could have sheron, tinkler, donovan, dyer etc playing for far more money.

I thought I was watching Bruce at one bit, poor old richards can't turn on sixpence can he? Looked just like Dyer in the first half.

Oh and Togwell - a steal!

I feel he needs a lot of improving to shape up to praise like that.

I was speaking relatively... similar role. I always thought that Deschamps never got the credit he deserved both at club and international level and that was because his role was about allowing the flair players to play whilst he did much of the donkey work.

Well okay , a bit over the top and somewhat inaccurate to boot .

But there's no doubt in my mind that Togwell can certainly become a better player than McHale .
