Drop him, IMHO, he does work hard alot, but everytime he gets ball he giz it away, nothing technical too his game at all.
Have howard and Mccann in middle, Reid on left.

I take your point, but I hope your aren't in the "Howard should be in the middle, let's see who we can drop to accomodate him" brigade. Arguably, Togwell didn't have a great game today, but neither did Howard (who IS a recognised wide player). It's interesting that a couple of weeks ago, the public were baying for the manager to drop McCann.
he is what you call a ball winner you just need a good man with him to pick the pieces up .contender though for playerm of the year find some one better for 50 grand ie mattis
he'd run through a wall for the club and can never be critisised for his effott its superb but he has very little quality on the ball.
Harsh - thought he passed the ball around nicely yesterday. The defence was the problem, not the midfield, though Howard and Devaney were disappointing.
Togwell has been mr.consistent for us. Cant believe he is taking any stick. He covers every blade of grass and puts his body on the line for the club. Football teams need this type of player, its not all about nice passing and skills. He will definitely be on the list of nominees for player of season.
fully agree with ya, wunt drop him for the world. what every football team wants a genuine honast player, but theres times when i see his distrebution and it lets him down a little bit.
Sorry mate I have to agree with most of the other replies, all teams need a player of his type, in the early 80's we had McHale (unsung hero), late 80's we had Thomas, mid 90's we had Stumpy. I'm not saying Togwell is as good as any of those, but he's the best we've got at the moment.
yes but he replaced mcphail so i compare him to mcphail rpobably y am a bit harsh on him in fairness. carnt knock him though like i say.
McHale would sit and hold his position (major strength for side) but Togwell seems to wander too much. Personally I felt that Togwell, Devaney and Howard were poor against Norwich and hardly supplied the forwards with telling balls thus putting pressure on the rest of the team.
