If Davey persist in playing Bobby in mid-field tomorrow, he obliviously dosn't rate Togwell as a genuine mid-fielder, so is this the end for Sam and his friends. In the close season if we are in this division ( 50-50) at the present time, will he get rid of the last remains of the Ritchie era. I think we will see another massive clearout and a lot more players coming in, that's if we are in this division.

I feel a bit sorry for Toggers and cant understand Daveys preference for Hassle in the holding position. I know Togwell isnt the best passer in the world but after watching some of Hassles heavy footed, rushed punts on Tuesday night, admittedly with the odd exception all I can see is an extra defender sitting rather than a defensive midfielder mopping up and getting us back on the front foot.

Didn't SD just give him a new deal?

I'm certain SD gave Sam a new deal in the summer - having watched (managed) him in the championship last season. I find it odd that he no longer trusts him to play in the midfield....

    RE: Yup

That say's it all so did Reid, Togwell had his chance but did'nt play that well. I don't think there's much difference between pair, Hassell's better at sheilding
    back four.
