That doesn't really explain his absence. We're playing Wiseman at centre half to plug a gap so why isn't the natural centre half Collins getting so much as a sniff.

What confidence will this give Matty Steade at the club who is a natural Left Back with bags of pace. I know he may not be ready but for a young lad these signals dont look good for his development. Why dont they loan him out also to get him some experience
Seems a sensible signing An experienced left back brought in as cover for Golbourne, rather than using a centre half or midfielder as back up. I'm certainly not going to write the lad off before he's even pulled on a shirt for us.
