Just wondered what people think about Kennedy's performance today? I thought he had a really good game, the ball down the left to O'Grady worked a treat. The criticism he's took for that particular pass over the last few weeks seems a bit harsh when it's clearly something the manager tells him to do, it's a bit like when Dawson & Perkins take short free kicks, in my eyes we shouldn't blame the player for following the managers instructions. Thought Kennedy defended better today than any other game this season too, was well up for the battle with Vaughan & Kennedy
I rate him and think he plays his role really well. I don't have any stats but he must be near the top of the goal assist table. Still some of our fans aren't happy unless they're slagging players off. If it's not Kennedy it's Dawson or Dagnall or Wiseman.
He had a bad game on Tuesday. He had a good game today. It happens. From a defensive point of view I'm not convinced. Great cross for the goal, we should do that more.
He's not good enough. Too weak and he had a lucky escape when he tried to guide a ball into touch and the Town man got round him and we nearly conceded. He does that too much. We won so for the moment some people are thinking he's ok. He isnt.
First half - quality. Possibly the best player on the pitch, for me. Continued to get the better of Scannell by getting infront of him whenever a ball was played to him. Linked up really well with Noble-Lazarus, too. He went downhill when Noble-Lazarus went off and he moved over to left-back. He's good on the left side of a back three, but I'm not convinced about him playing left-back, especially when there's no real left sided midfielder infront of him.
He's going to be hit n miss all season I think, but that said his distribution down the channel for O'Grady wins it for me, it's perfectly weighted and just what big Chris thrives on.
Not been today - on holiday. For me TK in that left CB position in a back 3 is sound. QB1 - whatever the knockers say
