Just scored a great opportunistic goal for Port Vale against Wimbledon. Proper grafter too. It worked when we last took on a prolific lower league striker. Surely a championship team will take a punt on him? Wouldn't mind if it was us.

True, although Pope has scored 25 this season now. How many seasons would it take for Kayode to net that many? Still, if it wasn't for Oddjob. . .
He's a born and bred Vale fan. Playing for his home town team and banging goals in for fun as they push for automatic promotion. He's hardly likely to swap that to join us in a relegation battle as there's a strong likelihood that both teams will be in the same league next season.
