give him a chance to score some goals, and build confidence.

I reckon he has what it takes, just needs a push..

Who Is Going To Get Our Goals Now ? Anyway From Official Site.......

BARNSLEY striker Tommy Wright will today sign for League Two side Walsall on loan until January 27, 2007.

The 22-year-old signed for the Reds in January 2006 after leaving Leicester City. Tommy moved to Oakwell after spending most of the 2005/2006 campaign on loan at Blackpool, where he hit six goals in 14 appearances for the struggling Seasiders.

Born in Leicester, the Tommy joined his hometown club as a youngster and has turned out 24 times for The Foxes, mainly as a substitute, since making his debut in the Premier League clash with Leeds United back in March 2002. He enjoyed two successful spells on loan at Brentford during the 2003/2004 campaign, netting three goals in 25 first team appearances for the Bees.

Tommy moved to Blackpool in August 2005 in a deal up to the start of 2006. He played and scored against the Reds at Oakwell in October 2005 and his battle with Paul Reid during that game left the Barnsley skipper with five stitches in a head wound and facing four weeks on the sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Tommy was a regular in the first team throughout the second half of 2005/2006 and his all-action displays helped the Reds secure promotion after a Play Off Final victory over Swansea City. He made 21 first team appearances and netted his first Barnsley goal at Brentford in March 2006.

He has made 41 first team appearances in total for the Reds, netting two goals.

Tommy will stay with Walsall until January 27, 2007. The deal is subject to the relevant paperwork being finalised and registered with the Football League ahead of tonight's deadline.

    It always astounds me...

That footballer with the worst records can get another club elsewhere.

What about a reference for Tommy Wright.

    To Whoever it concerns

Tommy Played for us (Barnsley FC) about 30 times.

    He scored 2 goals.

    He is a striker.

    Many Thanks.

We've no chance of getting him...

He's the target of an 8m bid from Villa

I remember being sat in the car park at Walsall

and as Tommy walked passed (think he's a local lad) my passenger bellowed summat at him and scared the poor bstrd to death.

good luck to him, hope he find the net a few times.
