Fastest red card: 13 seconds, Kevin Pressman (for Sheffield Wednesday, 13 August 2000)

The Quakers were up against it when Tommy Wright was sent off after just 55 seconds for elbowing Simon King.

Quickest red card of all has to be when Banks got sent off at Bournemouth yonks ago before he actually came onto the field. He was coming on as a sub and must have said summat to t' ref. Class, that.

    Apparently

He'd heard the microwave ping when leaving the dressing room and want to get back in there whilst the pies were still hot.
