I so wanted Tommy to get on teh score sheet yesterday. He was warminh up near us and I shouted "Tommy Lad". He looked up expecting some abuse but I just said come on lad you can do it. But on he comes for Richards (should have been Devaney imho) and it takes him a good ten minutes to touch the ball, and even then he struggles to win anythung in the air or on the deck. He was unluck when teh keeper brought him down and then the full back landed on him to ensure he did not get back up, but the jury remains firmly out for me. Ritchie must have seen summat I haven't cos yesterday I could not even see the battle in him I'd start with him on Tuesday night and hope that a start will give him confidence to get a goal. By god he needs it.
RE: Bit harsh!! alreight alreight... I suppose Donny's a bit hardline. On appeal the sentence has been reduced on the grounds of lacking any malicious intent. Thomas Wright, I hereby sentence you to a life of division 1 football.
Confidence is at rock bottom and the behaviour of some so-called supporters isn't helping one bit. I thought the whole point of support was to offer help when things aren't going right - about building people up not knocking em down. I really do hope he comes good and shoves the knockers' comments up their arses.
