Tommy's Wright man to frighten Blackpool from Barnsley Star

BLACKPOOL will not be relishing the return of Tommy Wright.
There will be relief around Bloomfield Road if, as looks likely, the striker starts on the bench for Barnsley tomorrow.

Wright had 10 starts earlier this season on loan at Blackpool and netted six.
His stop-start career at Barnsley (seven starts, one goal) has not brought the same dividends, yet the 21-year-old is a natural to give an insight into tomorrow's opponents.
"It will be a tough game, it will be a battle. As much as they say they are a footballing side, I think they'll get at us from the first whistle. We can't take it easy because it won't be easy," he reckoned.
"They've got some very good players, Peter Clarke at the back, Keigan Parker up front is always lively and they've a lad called Marcus Bean in midfield who is quality.
"The've beaten the teams at the top and to be honest they're in a false position. They're probably at the top of the recent form table and their league position is not justified.
"I enjoyed it there, was successful and scored six in 10 games.
"The crowd were always good to me but I don't know how they're going to be when I go back."
Boss Andy Ritchie's game plan will be simple: Go out and get something.
But he knows that Blackpool are a team who have turned the corner, a dangerous side who defeated Swansea 1-0 in their last home game.
Ritchie reckoned: "They are saying that they still new three points to be safe.
"They've been at the bottom but just recently they've put some great results together.
"They got a draw at Brentford and we know from our own experience how difficult that is."
Ritchie also picked out striker Parker, defender Clarke plus veteran left back Jason Wilcox as the main men the opposition corner.
"Parker seems to have an eye for goal and Clarke at the back is a good player, who has plenty of experience as has Jason Wilcox.
"Experience seems to have steadied the ship for them."
