He had zero ability but at least you got a bit of movement and 100% effort from him.

In Richards and Wright we are releasing two of the most honest and hard working members of the squad. I can see the logic in releasing them as they've looked out of their depth for much of the season. I just hope that their replacements have the same work ethic.

Oh and I hope they bloody hurry up and bring these replacements in. Our waifer thin squad doesn't seem to be getting any bigger.

They knocked their defence all over the shop, but unfortunately we couldn't capitalise on it. Richards missed an absolute sitter - However, I'm not convinced either of them should be written off now. Unfortunately with regards to certain players reds fans have nil patience. Davey's dossier on both must be unsympathetic also. Still, we might have a 28 year old who's had one good season in league 1 in soon. I cannot fcking wait.

Make good points there. Tommys 21 and Richards 24. Leon is 28. it would be nice to give them more of a chance because how many times have we released crap players that go on to be good ones. Fallon, Liddell, Beckett, Hurst to name a few

They need coaching and developement. Richards esp, whilst not notching as many as he should have done gives us another option up front. When he's come on as sub under davey we've actually held the ball in attacking areas and brought the midfield onto it. Madness to release him.

It does seem odd that despite have a jacket covered in coaching badges

Daveyappears to be releasing players that might benefit from a bit of "Pro License" coaching.
