Just got the itinerary through. Seems to be a distinct lack of pub stops in there! Am I gonna need to fill my camelbak with JD???
yeah it looks pretty rural, i'm sure we'll be fine really looking forward to it. have been relaxed in the build up but for some reason a tad nervous now !
I felt a bit of a fraud only walking the last 5 miles when people are walking 24 from Barnsley. I didn't realise that there were some walking 73 miles from Lincoln! Good look to all the long walkers and we'll see you at the school in the morning.
Don't think we will have time for a pub!!! Timetable seems down to last 5 mins. Bradford have now added 400 yds to walk with lap of honour! Hope we have enough left standing. On a brighter note, the Bradford City kitman and friends have already done 4 hours.
In my defence I can't really feel my legs, or much below my neck really, and I'm lacking a great deal of spinal cord where you could really do with it, so trust me, by the time I get out of the car at the school I'll easily be able to convince people I've walked from Lincoln. I'm glad it's just the long walkers doing the lap of honour, as that extra 400 yards might have been a deal breaker! Me and the missus and our little girl are joining you for the last bit to give you some support and encouragement for the last stretch. Particularly Hicksy, because if he can't keep up with me he's really struggling.
