There's a new series on BBC 1 in which Stephen Fry visits all 50 states of the USA. On BBC 2 James May's interesting series on where technology is taking us continues. On ITV there's a new Touch of Frost. And on Channel 4 it's three quarters of the way through Peter Kay's new show. The rest of the week? Absolutely **** all.

    I cant decide

Trouble is its trying to parody something that is beyond parody

Just not sure if it works or not - think the "Judges" especially Pete Waterman are great not sure about the whole concept though

I wish I'd watched Stephen Fry

instead of that Peter Kay fall from grace epic. Do you think it was just a big excuse for him to dress in a frock and sing on stage?

It would have made an excellent 15 minute sketch...

...30 minutes at a push. There were touches of brilliance in it, but it relied on the same gag for the whole show.
