Nice to meet BFC Dave (sorry for pontificating) &amp; missus, Give Davey Time, the very pleasant TFP, LDRed etc..even Wayne was smartly dressed Pity I did not manage to witness Dirk's vertical stature along with Jay's bouffant but there will allways be another time.</p>

Good to seemost of the promotion side there...Eaden,Arjan, Thommo, Moses, Hendrie, Redders, Jovo, Appleby...I must ahve missed someone..no DW,CM(delayed flight), Stumpy etc </p>

Played a vid of the promotion season along with extended highlights of the bratfut game. Its demonstrated what such an attacking pacy side we were and to me just how much Marcelle contributed to our goals.</p>

LDred had a cosy chat with G.S.</p>

G.S. to express a like formy avatar which goes to show he reads the board. I shook his hand and he was pleasant enough.</p>

The missus was highly critical of the fact that nothing at the event was done for any charity, purely the club and I have to agree.</p>

To be fair, my "gripe" has been over for a few weeks as we have been fielding the strongest available side and our absense has been due to circumstances beyond my control. I have really missed "being there" and have our West Brom tickets beside me as I type!

I thought the food was okay, but for thirty notes they could have chucked in a bottle of wine or two per table. Still, it's BFC we're talking about here!! It was clear things were gonna be running late from the off and you're right - it was too cramped and hot. They should NEVER have sold seats at the tables in that annexed bit at the side - crap view...felt completely uninvolved. Couldn't see the screen, or hear 'owt for the first half an hour.</p>

It was good to catch those season highlights again. Two things struck me - what a shower of ***** we were in Jan/Feb that season, but what a sensational team they were when they set to it. Some of the approach play was just stunning.</p>
