Tonight we got what we deserved....................FOOOOK ALL !!!

They wanted it more than us..........simple as that
We seemed overawed by the occasion
They were quicker and harder in to the tackle than us when it counted
We didn't string 3 passes together all night - they didn't let us
They had a lot more shots at goal than we did - even though some on here are saying we dominated play - we just didn't
If we had played like that against Watfud we would have lost 6 - 0

Very very disapointing performance - especially after the way the team played very well in patches against Watfud


Positives...........we didn't get anybody sent off........and lets hope there's no injuries
And, we tried.........

to sum up;

1st half was rubbish both teams looked poor and cagey, we had the majority of the ball but did not up the tempo

2nd half Wendy started as we should when we were on top in the 1st, they applied pace, pressure and some good moves, once they scored we had anotther 10mins where it could 2 or 3-0, after that it was all us chasing the game creating a few clear chances but mostly half chances!

The one annoying aspect for me was the lack of variation, Devaney and JCR not switching wings as an example.

Worryingly the 3 best players for us were Da Silva, Maken and Lewin yet none of them are our players???

I really hope the players are in training today and work out how to win away and how to deal from set pieces. I think we have around ten chances that went wide in the second half alone. We couldn't seem to get **** all on target. A shambles was that last night. They continue to let us down in the bigger games.
