I didn't go because I couldn't afford it, kids would have wanted to go as well. I listened to Matt and the others commentaries and summaries on 1575 and they painted a bleak picture indeed. (I'm glad now I didn't go and don't actually feel guilty about not going. Believe it or not in the 80's I wouldn't go with me mates on a cheapo to Portugal for a week because we were playing Rotherham at home in that promotion tussle). The 1575 lads said they had to be careful what they were saying, but gave the picture of a team most of whom had no idea, no talent, no effort and no heart. The only two exempt were Colgan and Atkinson, and they were amazed Togwell got the man of the match. I'm sure with Hassell and Howard they can't believe the poorness of what's around them at the minute, because how those two have played this season I would exempt them from that picture and allow them an off night. From those that went is that a fair reflection from the 1575 team?
Colgan - one **** up but otherwise very good.
Atkinson - solid but unspectacular, again.
Hayes - made himself available for goal kicks which he controlled several of. Best shot of the night to boot.
Rest of them, including Howard and with knobs on in the case of Hassell, were ****. Completely, unwaveringly, unacceptably ****.

It could have been the worst performance i have seen in 5 years, im still racking my memory to remember a worse one, and none will spring to mind. To sum it up "the performance was pathetic"!!!!!
I keep forgetting the "reply" button!!!! Thanks...................... to you both. Sums up in precise terms what I'm sure the 1575 team wanted to actually say. The early season hope and promise is a million miles away from the Davey era at present. We look poor all over the park and lack any pace, ideas or motivation. We need Billy The Fish from Viz. Roger Mellie for manager.
Yeah, but at least Roger Mellie's post match interviews would be entertaining, and he would tell you straight out that he didn't give a ****!
