Backing Villa tonight seems staggering to me.

One thing about Manchester City is that they are very, very strong at home. Adding to that that Villa are in a slight rut, seems a strange bet.

I backed Man Utd, Celtic, Rangers & Fulham though - and none of them are winning, so I'm in no place to judge. :)

Terry Butcher is doing a great job there.

Intriguing - isnt that the first goal they've even scored against Rangers? 5-0 and 3-0 were the previous two results.

Why back Rangers? Where is the value in that?

The reason I backed Villa, was because of the pure value factor. If they lost, they lost, but if they won, I was getting a tidy return on my outlay. And although they are in a rut, they do have the quality to beat an inconsistent Manchester City side...of course, they didn't, so they let me down for £400.

    Not to worry, eh? :)
