Lets get a few things straight.

Barnsley vs Pigs, Blunts, L**ds, Udds, Rovrum...Local Derby. (all within 20 miles largely been at a similar level for last 10 - 20 years)

Newcastle vs Mackems local derby due to no other team other than "minnows" within 60 miles.

Leetswitch vs Naaarich local derby due to no other team other than "minnows" within 60 miles.

Barnsley vs Chesterfield as much as a local derby as Manure, Man shitty, Derby, Hull, ie. not.

Tyne and Wear is a metropolitan county in the North East of England and consists of the estuary areas of the rivers Tyne and Wear.

The county was created by the Local Government Act 1972 and borders the non-metropolitan counties of Durham and Northumberland. It is divided into the metropolitan boroughs of South Tyneside, North Tyneside, City of Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead and the City of Sunderland.

In 1986 the county council was abolished and most of its powers devolved to the metropolitan boroughs. The county itself has not been abolished and still exists as a legal entity and a ceremonial county.

Newcastle and Sunderland are as close as Barnsley to Sheffield Daz.

Am i right in saying that Ipswich and Norwich are in East Anglia?

Not a county anymore but in bygon times it definately was. This also adds to the rivalry hence the East Anglian derby billing the game gets.

What shall we call this massive derby between us and Chesterfield? I know we'll just make a region up.

How about trans pennine trail derby this includes any team that is with a 1 mile walk from the trail. We could then have derbies against Hull, Scnuthorpe, Leeds, Sheff U, Sheff Weds, Doncaster, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Man Utd, Man City, Stockport, York, Liverpool and Everton.

Now we have more derbies I think our revenue will increase and we could buy a striker that can score. This could be the start of our revival and I always like to go to a derby.

Yes - it's East Anglia, Anglia being one of the ancient kingdoms that included Wessex

And there's a metro link between them. I know some Newcastle fans who won't even go south of the Tyne as they think they're all Mackems.

are you happy with the Trans Pennine derbies?

I reckon we could drum up support from the club. They'll be able to call them all Cat A games and charge £25 per ticket incl OAP's and Kids.

    What a money spinner.

In fact I think the club have already been proactive in this game and might already be onto my master plan.

Chesterfield Cat A??? It'll be called a colossal derby by Rob in about and hour as well.
