Are all the beers in Germany quite fizzy pilsner type affairs, or can you get stuff which resembles the really hoppy American-style IPA's?
Germany has so many different beers on so many different levels. Altbier(old beer) from Dusseldorf is a dark beer, one of my favourites. The Germans like beer and cola for some reason. Strange bunch.
Coors light. Been in freezer and slightly slushy. And I don't normally drink lager.....But I'm too fussy with cider, I have to be really in the mood.
Tap Watter, Tonic Water, Stella occasionally and now a glass of Savvy blanc No matter what goes into the orifice that is called my mouth, the result is the same, perspiration by the bouquet (lady of the residence speaking) load Anyway - what I want to know is why has the Stella recipe been altered so now the ABV is only 4.8% - was it not 5.2% once upon a time?
It's just not the same........wasn't called 'wife beater' for nowt n.b. - i do not, and never will engage i such an activity - I abhor violence - even to the extent of hating boxing n.b.b. - alcohol makes me sleepy - as does this lovely bloody hot weather - long may it continue
I'm getting a thirst on just looking at that and it's only 7.20 in the morning! You really are spoiled for choice when it comes to amazing IPA's over there. Drank quite a bit of Flying Dog when in was in the US this year, which I guess isn't too far from you?
