Name one modern day British politician you would actually trust.

We gave up after the first ten names.

I trust none of them, not a single one. Politics is rotten from top to bottom and is so difficult working out which ones are the least rotten.

I think it's overly cynical to think all politicians are untrustworthy or mendacious. The right wing press want us to be cynical want us to think there are no alternatives. I think there are politicians of all shades that are completely trustworthy whether you like their opinions or not. Just looking locally Dan Jarvis seems a good bloke.

Do you mean actually trust to do a good job or trust to generally f*** things up. There are plenty who would fit into the latter catergory but can't think of anyone for the former. My guess is politics can't function in an open, honest and trustworthy way. Power corrupts.
