    Did he ever play for the reds?I know he coached us but I can't remember if he actually played any games in an emergency role.

    Part of the Parkin/Ford "Dream Team" wasn't he?

    My God, and people complain about the CURRENT set up at Oakwell. Unbelievable!
    I don't think Ford actually played for us did he - just added his coaching skills to the plot :)

    Think he registered as a player so that he could help out ........

    .... most likely in the reserves, but don't know whether he ever did

    He played lots....for Grimsby at Oakwell

    Scored often enough as well but that was in the days when we had trouble competing with the likes of Grimsby, Hartlepool, Brentford etc etc - NEVER AGAIN :D

    I seemed to think so too, but started to doubt when so many have said otherwise.
