How about...

Wouldn't want him to leave but needing him to stay is perhaps a touch strong?

I'd like to see him stay but I don't think he's irreplaceable...

if he aint even got the self control

to lay off the beer as a well paid pro athlete then we can do a lot better, no forgetting the defence has been piss poor all season long, see leicester goal for that, a long ball straight between the two centre backs.

If Kay more interested in getting pissed than concentrating on his football then i dont really care if he goes, im sure we can get a better centre half in, he would be no great loss, the only regret for me would be letting him go one the free, another home grown player with no fee to show.

Spot on. A career as a player is relatively short, so if they cant lay off the ale when they are requested to do gets no sympathy from me when they aren't offered a new deal. Besides, his errors on the pitch are caused by a lack of concentration - something we can do without when you have a defensive record like ours. Im certain that Davey can bring in a better centre half than him. When he has played well, imo, he ha splayed very well. When he's been bad though, he's been abysmal - like on Saturday he was *****.
