City boss Tony Pulis was left cursing a tale of two halves after watching his side let slip a two goal lead against Barnsley. Clint Hill and Luke Chadwick scored as the Potters raced ahead inside 25 minutes, but late second-half goals from Tommy Wright and Paul Hayes earned the home side a draw. "In the second-half we wanted to do exactly what we did in the first-half but we dropped too deep," lamented the City boss shortly after the final whistle. "But I still thought we'd score. Every time we got into their half we looked as if we were going to score. "The first-half was as good as I've seen us play - our midfield four controlled the game." New loan signing Andy Griffin, who rejoined City from Portsmouth late on Friday, stepped into replace Carl Hoefkens at right-back and earned special praise from his new manager. Added Pulis: "He was playing against their top player and I thought he did ever so well. "Carl Hoefkens has been travelling all over Europe and a couple of times now he's come back and hasn't looked as sharp."
RE: Griffin was humiliated nearly all afternoon. Team of hoofers- everything went up in the air to Sidibe. Although i thought the guy with the girls hairband looked useful. How **** was there number 8?
