Been a load of talk in past couple of weeks that Gillingham have been after him, maybe hes off there???
He's certainly got the pedigree to be a very good Championship player, Liverpool fans were sad/angry that he was let go. He's only 19 and some game time will do him a lot of good. Hopefully he'll get the chance to feature more next season. Could be the next Vaz Te.
I've seen him once, albeit against Stocksbridge, he only had one foot, and was very wasteful with possession. To me he looked like he wouldn't be able to cut it in the championship, but then again that's based on one game. So I couldn't possibly write him off, nor could I deffo say he looks championship quality.
Not seen him once. But when looking at his youtube video of his loan at Northampton, he looked lively but as you say, very very very very one-footed. One for the future, maybe, probably...
Funnily enough I, too, have only seen him once. It was the home friendly against WBA. As you say, he predominately used his left foot. However, he cut inside tearing past the left back on every occasion. I think the full back in question was the lad who got sent off against Spurs for spitting, but I could be wrong. Silva certainly looked impressive that day.
Re: Funnily enough That was probably the best ive seen him play against WBA in pres season. I've seen him play quite a few times over u21 a couple of friendly's against WBA and the 20/30 minutes he played at Doncaster and against hull in is one first team competitive appearance.
Well If the lad comes back from his loan spell and contributes similarly next season to what Chris Dagnall has done this, after his period at Bradford 12 months ago, I won't complain.
Re: Funnily enough Yeah I seem to remember the same. Perhaps a little greedy is how I would describe him as well but with it only being a friendly it's difficult to say - he might just have been chancing his arm.
Re: Funnily enough I thought it was more a lack of awareness of where his team mates were and not always getting his head up. That will come with good coaching, a willingness to learn & match experience. Perhaps I'm looking at the situation through rose tinted specs, but I believe the lad can be quite a talent, with a bit of patience.
