Bugger. At least we have the man of Steele, but I think TW is a better keeper.

    TW a better keeper?

You think? Personally I prefer Steeley. Warner was good but his performance at Coventry put me right off!

    So do I mate....

Think Lukes excellent performance at Liverpool was a flash in the pan, should have come off his line a lot more last night and fumbled one shot. The windy conditions wouldn't have helped him to be fair to him though, but you are West Broms 3rd choice for a reason.

    Why

i didnt blame him for any of the goals? if you on about the one where Souza lets it sail over his head and it leaves Warner in no mans land? l think when that cross came in Warner would normally have expected a decent centre half to clear or take up a good position to head away, unfortunately it was Souza, who's suspension is a blessing in disguise.

so what do we do after his 28 day loan expires?

Can we extend his deal to the end of the season?

    RE: Why

He just didn't look bothered at Coventry. Thought he was good against West Brom - liked his bravery - but Steeley was excellent at Liverpool - world class saves.

Exactly mate. I thought it throughout the Liverpool game that it was more than likely a flash in the pan. Tony Warner has far more experience and I was more confident when we had him between the sticks. I may get flamed for this too, but I don't think Steele made world class saves against Liverpool. Some excellent saves, don't get me wrong, and his reactions were lightning quick - but I think he would have been disappointed had he let any of them in. A lot of it was down to his good positioning though.

Christ on a bike, don't I waffle on!

Once we are out of the cup I'd get him back. Make him number 1 for the rest of the season.
