    Benny Hill – Only met him a couple of times, nice chap seemed a bit gay

    Harry H Corbett – charming fellow

    Brian Blessed – Brian was Brian. Lovely.

    Wilfred Bramble – Nice chap, a lot younger than his character on screen but very much like him.

    Colin Welland – known widely as ‘Smelly Welly’ due to bad breath.

    Sean Connery – Charming, charismatic but as ‘tight as arseholes’ Refused to honour a bet on the golf course with Tony and Eric Sykes. Not the done thing old boy.

    Richard Todd – boring

    Robert Shaw – Amazing. Tony loved him. Robert invited Tony and some other actors to play golf with him in Ireland. They all chipped in, bought a camper van and drove over there. Some came back early but Tony lasted the full 4 weeks….
