Too slow in the build up.

    I know we don't want to lose but flip me, we let them off the hook tonight by being too slow and laboured in our attacking third.

    New manager has something to work with here but there has to be some quicker movement of the ball forwards and pulling defences around with better movement to create space. Shot shy as well. So frustrating.

    Kane and Mowatt did not know how to play the rest of our attacking players into threatening positions.

    But Stoke didn't make it easy either.
