He's not a footie fan, but he was up for the weekend and said he'd go along with me so I didn't have to miss the game.

It was embarrasing. A whole 90 plus minutes of football without any excitement bar Heinz Mullers theatrical flying save.

He asked me why I bothered going and I didn't really have an answer other than to say it wasn't always like this, just this match... and the previous home game too.

Will it be the same against QPR I wonder?

How can we ever hope to entice new fans to come alomg when we are serving up a shower of shiny ***** like this week in week out?

Agreed. You're paying silly money to be entertained for 90 minutes, and the last few games have been about as entertaining as a **** rash.

You're paying footballers a handsome salary to do their job, and they can't even do it properly. It's a real shame their job is in an industry charged with emotion, because no matter how **** they are, we still go and watch, still put money over the counter, still pay their wages. Any other job, we would have stopped paying for this "entertainment".

As you all can tell, I'm pretty disillusioned.
