Took my 2 Nephews to their first ever game yesterday

    First time I watched the reds - I sat in the West Stand and we lost 1-0

    so they've got off to the same start as I did.

    They both thought we should have won and cant understand why we didnt get a penalty for the foul on Odejayi

    the joys of being a kid again eh.

    Oh and it hasnt put them off - they still want to go again. Shame my Sister lives in Ilford so the oppertunities for watching are a bit limited.

    Annoyingly their Dad is a typical Man U fan (lives in London never been to Old Trafford etc) so I feel the need to give them a chance to experience proper football. Wouldnt mind if they went to Charlton for example (Their nearest ground) just not Man U.

    Might have to get the big guns out for next Saturday

    Laura's never seen us lose at Oakwell, I've a feeling we may need the good luck she brings (provided she's fit enough to attend, of course).
