    Watched it again on E4 last night and what a great top ten it was. There's bound to be a list somewhere for it, but you could barely fault the top ten. Freddie got beat to number one by Imagine. Other great acts in the top ten included Police and Verve. Well worth a watch.

    Music is all about tastes though. For me a Queen record would get nowhere near the top 10, have to say neither would the Verve (Bitter Sweet Symphony, i presume).

    No it was The Drugs Don't Work. Police was I'll Be Watching You, which i'm proud to have as number one when I was born. It came in at number five. Should be a list somewhere on the channel 4 website we can look through. Ben E King with Stand By Me was another.

    The Police with i'll be watching you err i dont know that particular Police song,doubt mr sting does either,although he may know one called every breath you take,ffs db3k, the extent of your lack of knowledge knows no bounds,football,cricket nar music i would shut up if i was you ,i dont know you but i am guessing your a right gobshite

    it would have been easier to understand if it wasn't just 1-10 that's been numbered :D :D :D Thanks for the post though. Whiter Shade Of Pale got some good airtime, but Manics didn't (N) (N) (N)
