I know it sounds ridiculous, and I know there's questions around whether we could realistically sustain that 1.70 PPG average over a season. But...

A measly 13 points separate us from the final play off spot. That's 4 wins and a draw. Looking at our first 26 under Keef

    P26, W5 D6 L15

P26 W9 D8 L9, would have given us the points we needed. That's really not that much. I would bet my mortgage that Flicker being capable of getting that set of results

That's why Flicker will be aiming for top 6. And that's why the Club should be aiming for it too

I think its absolutely achievable. This league is so tight now that anyone could end up there. There really isn't a gulf in class from top to bottom. Its just that maybe 6 teams will really take the league by storm next year, you can never tell. I wouldn't have guessed that CP and Watford would be up there, Brighton as well. Where have Blackpool, Bolton, Blackburn got to? Crazy.

We beat one of the teams promoted both home and away this season - so definitely no gulf in class there for certain

I think we'd need everyone who's been offered a contract to sign it, especially Cranie who has had some interest from other Championship clubs apparently.

We'd also need to sign O'Grady, another quality centre half and another striker then I'd back us for top half. No reason we couldn't sneak into the playoffs.

agreed blivy. we need to retain our nucleus, sign Cogba and strengthen with probably 4 or 5. getting goldie back as well, will be like a new signing

95% of players sign new deals and Flicker stay with £1-2m budget I think bottom of top half not bottom of bottom half could be the norm again, 20 years on
