...West Brom were my favourites for the division before the start of the season & will always be there or thereabouts.

Result of the season so far imo

Not a bad result for your lads. Well done to Chopra, he's a great goalscorer and i wish we still had him.

Not bad? Beyond my wildest dreams :D

Chopra gave a masterclass in finishing last night but Derby played right into his hands. They insisted in playing very high up the pitch & using the offside trap. Chopra was on the last shoulder as soon as one of our players had the ball & was ready to burst forward. And when you consider that their central defence was painfully slow (only one I've seen so far slower than ours) it was a recipe for disaster.

They also insisted on zonal marking that far up the pitch for some bizarre reason, allowing Chopra & Chris Burke in particular up to 20 yards space which, and I can't believe I'm going to say this, Steve McPhail exploited perfectly threading pass after pass through.

Nigel Clough wants to take a good long look at his set up imo.

    Nigel Clough - borrowed time...

...it's not that he's not a patch on his dad (which is pressure enough for anyone I reckon) but actually he'd just not that good full stop. He made us look like Brazil last year at their place - and that was with Davey in charge.

That's not to take anything at all away from your result though - 6-1 against absolutely anyone at all in this division is just stunning.
