Agreed, losing 1-0 at West Ham is nothing to be ashamed of. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways against Blackpool on boxing day
Their goalscorer, Papa Bouba Diop Alone has cost clubs £11million in total transfer fee's, is on about £50k a week, and has played 60+ international games, and scored 3 world cup goals. He is one of a few full internationals, with multi million pound price tags, on nigh on a million quid a year each. To say we lost due to one defensive error, early on in the game, just goes to show money is being wrongly invested in football. We weren't beaten by West Ham today, we were narrowly edged in a contest where neither side assaulted the goalmouth despite one team having a three pronged strikeforce which is enough to unnearven even some premier league defences (and west ham had Cole, Carew and Piquionne ). OH AND WEST HAM ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
We played well against a good team, could have had a couple of goals. No shame in today's performance
Re: Yeah another cracking lose that Well it gives you something to moan about, isn't that enough? For the rest of us, it's a shame to lose but not in the manner we did. Better sides than us will go there and lose much more convincingly. Besides, we're still on for the playoffs. Toot toot.

Re: yes, a truly magnificent defeat don't think anyone who was there would say that Barnsley didn't put in a good performance; we lost to a sloppy set piece goal we'll have to work on that but otherwise we competed very well with a team whose wage bill for example must be 10x ours. Went away from Upton Park yesterday about as happy as you could be following a loss, very few complaints.
