Top six positions at the end of the season

    Assuming we have no injuries going forward and assuming Mowat is out for 3 games this is my top 6

    Norwich
    Barnsley
    Watford
    Swansea
    Bournemouth
    Cardiff or Middlesborough

    I think we will be ok without Mowat, a big loss but we are only up against Wednesday, Reading and Luton - I don't personally rate Reading and think they are in a false position and have been for some time, and the team is so well drilled now we have the players to rotate and fill in for Mowat - I can't see us losing another game this season - I think we will draw against Norwich in the last game and win the rest - momentum is now with us, nobody wants to play us right now and we have shown we have the will to win any game, either passing it around or winning ugly - just need to stay injury free.

    Admire your optimism but Im not convinced - I think we will finish in the top 6 I also think Brentford will which you seem to have totally missed

    I think
    Norwich and Watford for Automatic and Brentford Swansea Barnsley and either Bournemouth or Reading for the playoffs

    Brentford for me are like Reading, in a false position, I think they will drop off - they have a tough run in - Cardiff Bournemouth and Watford in 10 days

    Almost same, but if either Reading or Bournemouth slip up next time out I can see Boro pipping one of them.
    9 / 10 games left - Colin has been in this position soooooooooo many times.

    I admire and agree with your sentiment. A lot will depend on the midfield now. If he gets it right in Mowatt's absence we'll go close.

    Do you reckon he will put Styles in for Mowat Steve? - a straight swap and he's two footed so not compromised with passing etc

    I would stake my mortgage on us making the play-offs - not a scintilla of doubt - but we aren't catching Watford. Not a chance.

    I'd play Styles and bring in Jordan Williams at left back.
